Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: May 14, 2026
Last updated: May 14, 2026
BLOOM RISE MEDIA LLC respects your right to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to request deletion, how long it takes, what is included, and what is excluded. It satisfies Meta’s requirement that every app accessing Facebook or Instagram data publishes a clear data-deletion URL.
1. How to request deletion
You can request deletion in any of the following ways:
- Email (recommended): send a request to contact@bloomrisemedia.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include:
- Your full name.
- The email address, phone number, or Facebook/Instagram username associated with the data.
- Which integration the request applies to (for example: Bloom Rise Media client account, lead form on a specific website, Facebook Page connection, Instagram business account, Meta Lead Ad submission).
- The approximate date of the interaction, if known.
- From the client portal: log in to bloomriseagencia.com/portal and use the “Delete my account” option in account settings.
- From Facebook settings: at facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools, find “Bloom Rise Media,” click Remove, and check the box requesting that we delete any data we received from Meta. Meta will notify us and we will process the deletion within the timeline below.
- By mail: BLOOM RISE MEDIA LLC, Attn: Privacy, Fairfax, Virginia 22030, United States.
2. What we delete
On a verified deletion request, we delete:
- Discovery-form responses, uploaded brand assets, and project notes.
- Account profile, authentication records, and portal activity history.
- Lead submissions captured from forms we operate on your behalf.
- Meta-sourced data tied to you, including Facebook Page tokens, Instagram business-account tokens, page-level insights linked to your identity, lead-ad form submissions, and any cached messages or comments associated with your profile.
- Email addresses from our marketing lists.
- Any backups containing the above are purged within an additional 30 days as part of our rolling backup cycle.
3. What we may retain (and why)
- Billing and tax records: invoices, payment receipts, and related accounting records are retained for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax law.
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics: data that can no longer be linked to you may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
- Legal hold: records subject to litigation, regulatory inquiry, fraud investigation, or other legal obligation may be retained until the matter is resolved.
- Security logs: minimal IP and timestamp records may be retained for up to 90 days to investigate abuse.
4. How long it takes
- Acknowledgment within 5 business days of receiving your request.
- Identity verification (we may ask one or two questions to confirm you are who you say you are).
- Deletion completed within 30 days of verification.
- Backup purge completed within an additional 30 days.
- Confirmation email sent when deletion is complete, including a unique confirmation code.
Complex requests, or requests that affect multiple linked accounts, may take up to 45 days; we will tell you in writing if we need the extension.
5. Data deletion confirmation code
Meta requires that we return a confirmation code so users can track the status of their deletion request. When Meta forwards a deletion request to us, we generate a code in the format BR-DEL-YYYYMMDD-XXXXXXXX (for example, BR-DEL-20260514-9F3A7BC2). You can check the status of any request by emailing contact@bloomrisemedia.com with that code.
6. Third-party data
We may have shared limited information with the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Backblaze, Anthropic, CallRail, Google, Meta, TikTok). We instruct these processors to delete data on our request; their retention practices are described in their own terms. To request deletion directly from Meta, visit facebook.com/help/contact/2032834846972583. If a contractor client is the controller of certain data (for example, leads delivered through a website we built for them), we will forward your request to that client and notify you.
7. Effect of deletion
Deleting your data ends your access to the client portal, the dashboard, and any ongoing campaign reporting tied to your identity. Live websites and microsites we operate for a client business will continue to run; only the personal information linked to your individual profile is removed.
8. Appeals
If we deny a deletion request (for example, because we cannot verify your identity or a legal hold applies), you may appeal by replying to the denial email. We will review the appeal within 60 days. Virginia residents may also contact the Virginia Attorney General at oag.state.va.us, and California residents may file a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.
